Deep Purple in concert at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater in Florida and by special invitation... Mark Stein performs Smoke On The Water! July 14, 2007 - This was a special night for Mark. Not only are the members of Deep Purple old friends, they are one of the top rock bands of all time that publicly acknowledge Mark and Vanilla Fudge as being one of their main influences. According to original DP organist Jon Lord, they set out to be the British Vanilla Fudge. Mark says, "It was an honor to be invited to sit in with them."
